After many phone calls and contacts, Leidys Murillo and John Asprilla could produce some evidence of the existence of the piezometer. The piezometer and its surroundings provides the water and soil samples to run the environmental DNA in autumn 2024. That means, we will be able to explore the existence of stygofauna in the Moroa aquifer and say something about the health of this ecosystem. We must thank CarSucre, the local enviromental authority, for leading us in the right direction. Now the task is all ours.
