Social cartography on the run: welcome to Giancarlo Macchi from University of Siena, Italy

Associate professor Macchi has accepted our invitation to join the team and produce the protocols, the material and do the lecturing to our research assistants and students. Professor Macchi has a PhD in geography and has worked extensively in participatory mapping and historical geography and demography. Montserrat Lopez from StAndrews University, Kimberly Montanez and Andrés Palacio from Lund university hosted Macchi during his stay at Lund. Macchi is in charge of lecturing students from Universidad del Atlántico, Universidad de la Guajiara and Universidad de Sucre in August 2024.
